Doctors are increasingly recognizing the connection between health and hunger, experts said. “You can’t be healthy, you can’t be able to stave off chronic diseases if you’re not eating healthy food,” says Acacia Bamberg Salatti of the Center for Faith-based and Neighborhood Partnerships.
Celestial Manna is hitting at this problem in America one person at a time. Families are able to feed their children everyday now because of the community outreach Celestial Manna is providing the hungry.
Please donate to this cause and help your local community. We are feeding +6,000 individuals every week through our network of volunteers.
Celestial Manna is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization started in 1986 by Charlie Mann. Our primary mission is to feed the hungry by providing them with free food from locally donated resources. What started as a means to feed his own family now provides weekly support for +6,000 people in the state of Maryland and northern Virginia.More Info
We help people from all walks of life: blue-collar workers, low-income families, single-parent households, and diverse ethnicities. We gauge and are rewarded for our labor of love by the smiles and personal testimonies of the countless families we have helped in our communities.

Celestial Manna would not have lasted these almost three decades without their daily service and sacrifice. We have reaped many successes in our many years of existence because everyone has contributed their time and best efforts in their volunteering.
We are in our season of giving the most as many fall through the cracks of assistance to stretch their limited resources. For this Thanksgiving we are partnering with Julie's Love to provide 150 meals for families in need in Gaithersburg, MD.
