Despite a median household income of over $50,000, Montgomery County, MD, has over one household in twenty below the poverty level. The impact is particularly hard on children, in whom malnutrition is shown in poor learning ability, with consequences that reach far ahead into their adult lives.

bulletFood (click here for detailed needs)

Staple food products that are high in nutrition are always in demand. While you may think a can of beans is "camping food," to a child who has missed a day's meals (or more) a can of beans represents a gift of immeasurable value.

Food that has passed its saleable freshness date is still valuable to those with no food. Wholesalers and retailers who would otherwise send this food to the landfill are encouraged to contact us.

bulletOperating Funds & Volunteers

We pay no one in our organization. Funds are accepted to pay for operation, maintenance, and insurance on our Celestial Manna vehicle, and administrative costs such as printing and copying advertising and solicitation brochures, postage, and copying. All contributions are fully tax-deductible. Contact us.

We are always in need of volunteers to collect and distribute goods. Contact us.
